The Deuter Attack 20 is a TÜV/GS-certified protective backpack that enhances the safety of ambitious mountain bikers, even on the most challenging trails. A removable SAS-TEC back protector with multi-impact protection prevents injuries (depending on the severity of the impact). High hip fins ensure a tight and secure fit, regardless of the intensity of the ride. And when riding uphill, a full-face helmet and protective equipment quickly attach to the outside of the pack.

Deuter Attack 20 Materials
600D PES Jacket
High-quality and extremely durable TPU material, extremely tear-resistant with fabric reinforcement and waterproof thanks to its closed surface. The closed surface significantly reduces abrasion and therefore wear. We use the material in different qualities - 620, 420, and 210 denier. Depending on mechanical stress, the material's coating strength, surface structure, and single- or double-sided coating can vary. It's particularly used for backpacks in areas with higher mechanical stress or increased humidity. The material is PVC-free and therefore lighter than comparable fabrics. It remains elastic even in extreme conditions.
600D PES Jacket
225D PES Ripstop
This polyester fabric is lightweight and durable. Thanks to its Ripstop structure, it's much more durable than you might initially think. Its matte finish and technical appearance make it a winner among our urban daypacks. The fabric's back is PU-coated and has a water resistance of 1500 mm.
225D PES Ripstop
D stands for denier. This refers to the yarn weight. 600D corresponds to 600 grams per 9000 meters.
PES stands for polyester. PES fibers are highly resistant to tears and abrasion and virtually impervious to moisture.
PA stands for polyamide. PA fibers are extremely durable and abrasion-resistant. They are also characterized by high elasticity and low weight.

Multishock Back Protector
The Multishock back protector offers multi-impact protection. The TÜV-GS-tested back system combines pleasant wearing comfort and excellent ventilation in the gaps between the pads with maximum safety in the event of a fall.
Stowable Helmet Holder
The integrated helmet net can be perfectly stowed in the provided pocket.
Carrier Protector
Abrasion-resistant and non-slip material is used on the upper back and shoulder straps to ensure the bike stays securely in the backpack during transport.
Smooth Fit
The hip fins are positioned well inward and high, securing the Atak directly under the ribcage – preventing the backpack from slipping upwards on steep descents or steps.
Multishock SAS-Protective System
The materials in the carrying system are precisely matched to the SAS-TEC protector. Together, they offer the highest possible level of protection, meeting the standards for motorcyclists. The protector is made of a special foam that returns to its original shape after deformation.
TÜV/GS certified protective backpacks
For a protective device to be considered truly protective, it must undergo rigorous testing. The Attack has been tested and certified by TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH (0123) in accordance with guideline 89/686EWG for personal protective equipment. The residual strength value determined for shock-absorbing properties complies with the European standard EN 1621-1* for back protectors.
PFAS-free
This product does not contain PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). PFASs have water, dirt, and oil-repellent properties, but are persistent chemicals that are harmful to humans, animals, and the environment.
Instead, Deuter uses durable water-repellent finishes (DWR) that are harmless to human and animal health, environmentally friendly, and free of these 'persistent chemicals.'
